Job summary

Lucchese Bootmaker Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable manufacturing operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust embroidery machines and related production equipment to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals, and collaboration with operators and leadership. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as needed; the position is based in El Paso,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous mechanical/maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect embroidery machines and production equipment to assess operating condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and computerized faults.
• Repair or replace defective machine components as needed.
• Read, interpret, and follow equipment manuals, diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
• Assist with equipment setup, changesovers, and adjustments per production needs.
• Test equipment following maintenance to verify safe and proper operation.
• Escalate complex issues to Maintenance Supervisor when necessary.
