Position Title: Embroidery Machine Operator Wage: $19.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd (Training on 1st shift) Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am Put your embroidery skills to work! We're looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, high-volume production team in Grandview, MO. If you have a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working with machinery, and take pride in producing quality work, this could be a great opportunity for you! This is a temporary role on 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Daily performance of duties ensures the highest-quality embroidery standards in accordance with company expectations
- Complete operation of multi-head embroidery machines
- Complete set-up and completion of different types of embroidery jobs
- Machinery operation and order processing with attention to ticketing, hooping, threading, adjustments of thread and bobbin tensions
- Execution of corrections to avoid expensive loss of product
- Follow specific detailed instructions given by the supervisor and/or manager
- Meet daily physical demands of standing for extending periods of time and moving around facility on foot
- Meet department production expectations
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Participate in additional maintenance and cleaning of the machines and work area
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 1 year of embroidery experience
- High attention to details
- Strong ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to express issues and pose questions
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Initiative-taking and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk and bend the entire shift
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, push, pull, stack, and use stairs as needed throughout the shift
- Ability to be on feet throughout the shift
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Good eyesight for small detail work
- Ability to work in varying seasonal temperatures
- Ability to follow safety procedures for assigned equipment and materials
