You may have found your next career!!! Unique Designs, a growing custom embroidery company in Annville is looking for a new Embroidery Machine Operator. Never run a machine before? Not sure if you could? Don't even know what it is? That's ok - we will train the right person! Our best operators have never touched a commercial embroidery machine before or any machine for that matter!!

The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, close attention to detail, has dependable and consistent attendance and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal communication skills are important to be a part of our team. Must be able to maintain speed and efficiency with little supervision. Committed to excellent customer service.

• Accuracy is required in performing all functions of the position within established standards; errors in work could cause delays in schedules and result in loss of revenue
• This position relies on efficiency and strict quality standards.
• This position requires the individual to be ready to start work on-time daily.
• This position requires superior hand/ eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Will be required to walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 45 lbs while practicing proper safety procedures, as well as work in a standing position for extended periods of time; 7-8 hours daily.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually low – moderate.

Responsibilities and Duties

Learn the entire embroidery process to include, but not limited to:

• How to thread the machine
• Troubleshoot small machine problems
• Hoop garment and find center of hoop
• Program thumb drive into embroidery machine
• Proof paperwork making sure the Work Order and the embroidery print out match
• Keep machine area neat and organized for an efficient and safe work area
• Other job specific duties as assigned
