Job summary

Samsung SDS America AI Science Lab in Mountain View, CA is advancing embodied AI robotics. The position focuses on learning-based perception, manipulation, and autonomous robot action across real hardware and simulation.

You will develop novel learning algorithms for robot understanding and control, run experiments with humanoid and other platforms, and contribute to publications and patents as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent research experience in a technical field.
• Strong research background in robotics, embodied AI, robot learning or related areas.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Hands-on ML framework experience (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with robotics simulation or hardware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original research in robotics, embodied AI, and ML.
• Develop novel algorithms for intelligent robotic systems.
• Design experiments with real robots, simulations, and large datasets.
• Train, evaluate, and deploy learning-based policies on physical robots.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate research into working systems.
