Job summary

Chariot Defense Inc. is seeking a versatile systems programmer to own the full software stack—from embedded controls to cloud services. You’ll write efficient C/C++/Rust, migrate data from devices to databases, and help shape a high-autonomy, do-it-all engineering culture in our San Bruno office.

Qualifications

BS in CS/EE or equivalent demonstrated experience.
3+ years building software across multiple stack layers.
Strong systems programming in C/C++/Rust.
Experience moving data from embedded devices to cloud/backend.
Proven track record delivering across hardware and services.

Responsibilities

Work across the stack from embedded to cloud services.
Bridge hardware and cloud: build telemetry pipelines.
Stand up and maintain back-end services, databases, cloud infra.
Apply systems programming where performance matters.
Own the pieces between specialized roles to keep system coherent.
Collaborate across firmware, embedded Linux, manufacturing, and product.
