Job summary
Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical components for IoT telematics systems and connected equipment, based in Greene, NY. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions for OEM forklift applications.
This in-person role offers a competitive salary of $73,840 to $94,667, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, health, dental, and life insurance,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of post-graduate electrical systems engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of analog, digital, high-speed, and RF circuit design including PCB development.
- Working knowledge of C and C++ programming.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical components for IoT telematics systems and connected equipment.
- Evaluate technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and develop system requirements.
- Create technical specifications and documentation for suppliers.
- Participate in wire harness design reviews and ensure system compatibility.
- Develop engineering documentation including DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, test plans, and manuals.
