Everforth Apex is seeking an Embedded Risk Manager in Coppell, TX to partner with infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, networking, and mainframe teams. You will manage risk exceptions, drive remediation plans, coordinate internal and external audits, and provide executive reporting on risk posture.

The role requires experience in regulated financial services or capital markets, strong knowledge of risk frameworks, and certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, or CGEIT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology risk management, operational risk, IT audit, or GRC, in regulated financial services.
• Experience across Infrastructure, Applications, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, and Mainframe operations.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as embedded risk advisor across Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Network, and Mainframe.
• Drive risk exception identification, assessment, and remediation tracking.
• Partner with exception owners to establish remediation plans and escalate as needed.
• Support internal and external audits with evidence gathering and remediation validation.
• Maintain risk documentation and executive risk reporting.
