Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a high-caliber Project Manager to lead the technical collateral development for in-house embedded system products. You will help define and implement data center and server technologies, creating proof of concepts and technical feature papers for industry events and online publications.

You will serve as the subject matter expert for product managers and systems engineers on benchmarks in networking, databases, and virtualization, partnering with Sales and customers to

Qualifications

• Experience with server architecture and OS concepts.
• Experience configuring Windows Server, Ubuntu, Redhat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience scripting languages: PowerShell, Linux Shell, C/C++, JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware and PCI Express.
• Proficiency in technical writing and clear communication.
• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in embedded hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate embedded system products using server components and technologies.
• Execute benchmark testing and build proofs of concept based on data center technologies.
• Draft technical marketing presentations and white papers for online publications and events.
• Proactively research new technologies and propose new Proof of Concepts.
• Collaborate with Sales, FAE, and customers to provide networking solution and technical knowledge.
