Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• Hands-on experience in embedded system design, microcontroller programming, and board bring-up preferred
• Lab skills with oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, power supplies, and bench instruments
• Familiarity with USB, USB-PD, Type-C, I2C, SPI, UART and related protocol troubleshooting
• Understanding of analog circuits, switching regulators, LDOs, DC-DC converters, and power distribution debugging is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Firmware development for reference designs and Infineon USB‑PD controller solutions
• Hardware validation against customer requirements and specifications
• Interoperability and compliance testing for USB‑C and USB‑PD ecosystems
• Write clear application notes and usage guides for Type‑C and USB‑PD applications
• Lab debugging using oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and lab equipment
• Document test results and communicate findings to engineering and product teams
