Job summary

Celestica is seeking talented and passionate interns for the Hardware Platform Services team in Austin, TX. You will contribute to designing and developing cloud hardware infrastructure, including CPU/GPU systems for data centers, while gaining hands‑on experience within a global engineering organization.

Start date June 2027, opportunities for later full‑time roles after graduation, and exposure to cutting‑edge AI‑driven infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in C / C++ and other low‑level programming languages and embedded systems.
• Experience in hardware bring‑up, validation of low‑level interfaces, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware/software interfaces (PCIe, USB, DDR, MIPI, Ethernet).
• Experience in board bring‑up of new embedded hardware with low‑level driver development to verify functionality including Linux kernel bring‑up, kernel enablement and upstreaming.

Responsibilities

• Gather Requirements and provide technical solutions spanning the system.
• Design and implement drivers and application software for next‑gen CPU/GPU data center systems.
• Develop and maintain software libraries to support computing on CPU/GPUs.
• Mentor and coach team members on technical skills and approaches to problems.
• Review and maintain code quality before production.
