Job summary

Celestica in Silicon Valley is seeking an Engineering Student Intern to join our Data Center Platform Software team for a 3‑month internship. You’ll work on software for network switches and compute systems, developing BSPs, Linux device drivers, and hardware diagnostics, gaining hands‑on experience across the hardware/software stack behind AI and cloud infrastructure.

Start Date June 2027; Location Silicon Valley; No formal experience required; pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE/CE/CS;

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preference for internship in data center or software development environments.
• No formal experience required; pursuing relevant degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug BSPs for data center network switches and compute systems.
• Write and troubleshoot Linux device drivers for hardware communication.
• Design and execute hardware diagnostics to validate system stability.
• Participate in platform bring-up with new hardware and software stack.
• Contribute to OS development using Linux/OS concepts and IPC.
• Write system-level code in C, C++, and Python.
