Job summary

SCCI in Dahlgren, Virginia, is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Design Engineer to join our team supporting a Weapon System Program. You will develop weapon control system code across multiple projects, from embedded microcontrollers to simulators with interactive GUI designs.

This onsite role at NSWCDD in Dahlgren requires a robust background in C/C++, GUI development, and TCP/IP networking, plus experience with version control tools like Git and CI systems such as Jenkins or GitLab.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• BS in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or direct hands-on weapon system experience.

Responsibilities

• Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software interfaces at a low level.
• Diagnose and resolve network configuration, connectivity, and data transmission problems.
• Write test cases, unit testing and validation of hardware software integration.
• Work in a fast paced, field environment with focus on fielding a product.
• Support tasking for multiple projects.
