Job summary

Vortex Optics seeks an Embedded Systems Engineer for its New Product Development team in Barneveld, WI. You will design electrical systems, develop PCBs, and integrate with mechanical and software platforms to deliver innovative sporting optics products.

Onsite, full-time role with opportunities to drive hardware architecture and verification. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, hands-on experience with embedded C/C++, and CAD tools for PCB design.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
• Experience with embedded software development and hardware interfaces.
• CAD tools experience for PCB design and layout.

Responsibilities

• Electrical circuit design and development.
• Develop and define product architectures.
• Lay out PCBs and create electrical schematics.
• Electrical circuit verification and testing.
• Develop embedded solutions for testing consumer products.
• Prototype electronic parts and PCBs.
