Job summary

McCoy Global is seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded systems powering industrial sensor and control products. You will contribute from concept through production release, focusing on robust embedded hardware and firmware for harsh environments.

You will work across the full product lifecycle, programming microcontrollers, designing circuits, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications.
• Experience with wireless or wired communication technologies.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on programming of microcontrollers and microprocessors across common architectures.
• Develop and validate firmware for embedded devices.
• Design and troubleshoot electronic circuits including power and signals.
• Apply low-power design considerations for battery-operated devices.
• Use lab and debugging equipment to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
• Support product testing and ensure design compliance.
