Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Software Engineer Embedded Systems II to design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded software, firmware, and low-level platform features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build drivers, kernel components, and hardware interfaces.

You will architect automated tests and tooling using Python and modern CI/CD pipelines to validate complex platform interactions and ensure product reliability.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in CS/EE/SE with related work experience within the past 3 years or 12 months projected.
• Strong C/C++ skills with embedded Linux/RTOS or POSIX environments.
• Solid understanding of OS concepts, multithreading and memory management.
• Familiar with Linux debugging tools and Git workflows.

Responsibilities
