Job summary

Cisco in the United States seeks a Software Engineer Embedded Systems II to design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded software and low-level platform features.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build device drivers, kernel components, and hardware interfaces, and you will implement system-level test automation and diagnostics using Python and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ in embedded Linux/RTOS environments.
• Understanding of OS concepts, multithreading, memory management, and hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with Linux workflows, debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind), and Git.
