Job summary

Solenis is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain embedded hardware and software systems. This role combines firmware development, hardware validation, DevOps/CI-CD practices, automated testing, and product release management to ensure reliable and secure operation of connected devices throughout their lifecycle.

• Experience developing embedded firmware in C.
• Familiarity with hardware validation and test plans.
• Understanding of DevOps/CI-CD for firmware.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Software Development: Develop, maintain, and debug embedded firmware written in C.
• Hardware Development & Validation: Support hardware design reviews and prototype evaluation; develop and execute hardware validation/test plans.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Create and maintain automated test frameworks for firmware, hardware, and system-level testing.
• DevOps & Release Engineering: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware and supporting software; automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• System Integration: Integrate embedded devices with cloud services, IoT platforms, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Create technical documentation, release notes, and maintain design specifications.
