Embedded Systems Engineer (Embedded Display & Graphics)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with a strong background in modern microcontroller development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with current-generation microcontrollers and a solid track record of writing high-quality, secure embedded C code. This role is essential to the integration of third-party libraries and system-level debugging in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware for microcontroller-based systems, with a primary focus on EFR32.
• Write secure and robust C code for embedded applications.
• Integrate third-party libraries, specifically LVGL, into existing codebases.
• Use modern development tools including VSCode, FreeRTOS, GitHub (including GitHub Actions), and the Meson build system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth firmware integration and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems issues across hardware and software interfaces.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in embedded firmware development using microcontrollers such as STM32, EFR32, and ESP32.
• Proficient with the following tools and environments:
• FreeRTOS
• GitHub (including GitHub Actions)
• Meson build system
• Solid experience in writing secure, high-quality C code, especially targeting the EFR32 platform.
• Practical experience integrating third-party libraries into embedded systems; strong familiarity with LVGL is required (note: no need to develop LVGL from scratch).
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.
