Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• 19+ years of relevant experience for the senior path (R&D Engineer, Advanced/Principal)
• Experience with embedded hardware and software systems.
• Knowledge of edge computing, RTOS, testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Embedded Systems Department, providing strategic direction and oversight.
• Cultivate partnerships with sponsors, defense contractors, and government labs.
• Direct a multidisciplinary team focused on embedded architectures and system integration.
• Lead research projects, proposals, staffing, budgets, and deliverables.
• Oversee hardware-software development and ensure rigorous technical outputs.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff in embedded systems and edge analytics.
