Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a software engineer to develop embedded software for a wide range of devices and participate in product development from inception to production in a fast-paced R&D setting.

You will assess product requirements, design interfaces and software architecture, and collaborate on backend development and validation while supporting legacy products with bug fixes and feature improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2 years of relevant experience - flexible

Responsibilities

• Writing software for embedded microcontrollers.

Job description

Develop software for a wide range of devices and be involved in product development from Inception to production in a fast-paced R&D setting. You would be involved in assessment of product requirements, user interface design, software architecture and backend development, and validation. Role includes working with 3rd party developers on various applications and supporting legacy products with bug-fixes and feature improvements. Work on multiple simultaneous projects with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Discipline
• 2 years of relevant experience - flexible

• Familiarity with C++ and C#
• Proficiency with GIT Repositories
