Job summary

You’ll ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, develop budgets, and coordinate with PIs within a department while aligning with centralized ORA standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and strong Excel skills, with experience in university research administration and fiscal management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in university research administration.
• Proven ability to work within a matrixed, shared-services operating model.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-award proposal development and budget justification in collaboration with PIs.
• Post-award financial management, compliance with CAS and Uniform Guidance.
• Budget translation and setup for new awards, including MTDC/TDC considerations.
• Monitoring expenditures for allowability and cost-sharing obligations.
• Lifecycle closeouts and project modifications as required.
