Job summary

New York City Transit Authority in Queens, NY is seeking a Computer Specialist III (Software) to support test equipment and embedded software during acceptance testing. Qualifications

• Experience with electronics testing equipment and interpretation of schematics.
• Ability to read diagrams and understand circuit designs for testing.
• Experience with Linux and scripting for automation and testing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform supportability analysis of electronic and electromechanical assemblies for test equipment.
• Review and report on documents and attend vendor design reviews; support acceptance testing.
• Develop test plans, execute fault insertion demonstrations, and document results.
• Develop procedures and programs for in-house automated test equipment platforms.
