This person will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of these embedded software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for embedded software systems applied to battery management systems and energy management systems.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify vulnerabilities and quality issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to diagnose and resolve software defects.
• Analyze test results and report findings to stakeholders.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
• Implement test automation and continuous integration processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 5 years of experience in Battery Management Systems and Energy Storage Systems embedded software testing.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java for scripting automated tests.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards such as IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and tools like Git, Jira.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
• Understanding of communication protocols like CAN, MODBUS, Ethernet.

Additional Details

Level: Intermediate

Pay Range: $70.00 - $90.00/hr

Location: Hybrid in Herndon, VA
