Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Mossville, IL is seeking a Software QA professional to develop and execute test cases and plans for embedded software applications. You will declare a user story "Done" and help update quality metrics, ensuring the software meets customer requirements.

You will collaborate with Systems Engineers, Business Analysts, and Software Developers on all engineering documentation, including requirements, specifications, design, code and validation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile environments.
• Troubleshooting systems and software.
• Experience with GPS positioning, wireless networks (Wi-Fi), TCP/IP, UDP/IP, TLS/SSL.
• Experience with embedded computers running Linux.
• Experience using scripting languages (e.g. Python) and Robot Framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases/plans for embedded software applications.
• Declare a user story "Done".
• Update quality metrics.
• Validate software works to customer requirements.
• Participate in release content discussion – estimates Accountabilities.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers and Business Analysts on all engineering documentation, including requirements, specifications, design, code and validation.
• Collaborate with Software Developers on test cases, test plans, etc.
• Investigate issues Deliverables.
