Apple Inc. is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join the Accessories team in Cupertino. You will design, develop, and validate firmware and hardware integration for next-generation Apple and Beats accessories.

The role emphasizes rapid development, hands-on debugging, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware and software teams. You should have 5+ years in embedded firmware for consumer products, solid C skills, and extensive experience with ARM Cortex MCUs, hardware bring-up, and bus

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS or equivalent with strong software focus.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development for high-volume consumer accessories or mobile hardware.
• Strong C programming skills and experience with low-power microcontrollers.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up experience, reading schematics and debugging chip-level functionality.
• Experience with system integration and prototyping on ARM Cortex architectures.
• Experience with common bus interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB).
• Excellent collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain hardware and software systems for Accessory products.
• Perform characterization, test and validation of designs and present results.
• Contribute to rapid development cycles and prototyping for new hardware builds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
• Support ongoing optimization and debugging of firmware on production hardware.
