Job summary

AGCO is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The role involves working with the global embedded platform team, developing and testing embedded software, and contributing to meaningful projects in a hands-on environment.

You will write C/C++ code, participate in Agile processes, and gain exposure to software validation, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. onsite or remote options available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE/SE or related field.
• Exposure to programming through coursework, projects, or activities.
• Experience with C, C++, or similar languages.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Interest in embedded systems and hardware/software interaction.
• Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn new tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist development, integration, and testing of embedded software components.
• Support software and hardware validation activities, including bench testing.
• Write and modify C/C++ code for embedded applications.
• Develop and execute unit tests, test scripts, and automation tools.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile activities.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers across global teams.
• Complete an assigned internship project and present results at the end.
