Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer - Embedded to join our defense-related team in Sterling Heights, MI. The role focuses on real-time embedded software integration, Linux-based platforms, and hardware-software interfaces in combat vehicle systems.
The successful candidate will work across testing, cybersecurity hardening, and problem solving to ensure solutions meet customer needs and project quality standards. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
- Experience integrating software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Knowledge of hardware integration in combat vehicle systems.
- Experience with RPM packaging is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Integrates and tests software on RHEL and hardware components in a combat vehicle system.
- Testbed setup for software and hardware integration; verify interfaces.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to investigate issues and analyze data.
- Ensure engineering principles, customer requirements, and quality standards are met.
