Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Mgr. Embedded Software Engineer 3 in Baltimore, MD. You will oversee and coordinate people, resources, and processes to deliver software solutions, ensuring staff development and strong performance management.

You will guide the team in Agile practices, collaborate with systems and hardware, and communicate effectively with business leaders and customers to ensure successful program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 10 years of experience, Master’s with 8, Ph.D. with 6.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start and maintain access.
• Experience as Software Engineering Manager leading and developing a team.
• Experience identifying risks, tracking defects, and reporting status.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of design, development, and integration of software components.
• Engage with leaders and customers to understand and drive business execution.
• Identify and remove impediments to goals and drive continuous improvement.
