Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design and deploy secure, edge‑optimized compute solutions for mission-critical environments. You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in software development and with embedded systems
• 2+ years of experience integrating CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, or FPGAs into edge pipelines
• Experience with zero‑trust designs for isolation, hardening, and least privileged run‑times, and designing packaged edge stacks that sync to the cloud but operate independently at the tactical edge
• Experience with programming languages, such as C or C++, Rust, and Python
• Experience with containerization technologies, micro‑service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including GitLab
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
• Experience in creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross‑functional team
• Knowledge of the broader ecosystem and technical environment of software programming
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with embedded software languages and products, such as Embedded Platforms, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SELinux, Ansible, Bash scripting, Make, and XML technologies
• Experience deploying optimized AI models to embedded targets
• Experience with quantization, pruning, and model telemetry at the edge
• Top Secret clearance
• AWS IoT Core or Greengrass Certification, or Solutions Architect Certification
• NVIDIA Certified Professional Certification

• The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
• The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
