Job summary

Kickmaker, a high-tech product design and industrialization agency, seeks a Software Engineer to support embedded projects in Seattle. You will handle firmware design, unit tests, and deployment across medical, mobility, and AI-driven hardware, with a focus on quality and CSR impact.

Required: degree in embedded computing and 5+ years in firmware; strong C/C++ MCU skills (STM32/ESP32/Nordic); Linux (Qt/Yocto/Zephyr); test tool development; and knowledge of UART/I2C/SPI/CAN, BLE/LoRa/LTE.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in embedded computing.
• 5 years of firmware development for embedded products.
• MCU development in C/C++ on STM32/ESP32/Nordic.
• Embedded Linux experience (Qt, Yocto, Zephyr) and test tools.
• Familiar with UART/I2C/SPI/CAN, BLE/LoRa/LTE and electronics basics.
• Knowledge of motor control and servo algorithms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Definition of project requirements based on customer needs.
• Firmware/software design and development.
• Unit testing, functional testing & documentation.
• Integration and continuous deployment.
• Iterative sprint cycle with customer feedback.
• Ensure quality and compliance with current HSE standards.
• Define eco-design and industrial relocation approaches.
• Participate in product life-cycle analysis to improve CSR impact.
