Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and bring up Kuiper-MAC firmware drivers in a real-time embedded environment. You will work across teams to define performance requirements and optimize end-to-end use cases, building use-cases and debugging on RTOS or bare-metal platforms.

The role emphasizes firmware design, documentation, and interfaces with SW/HW. Strong OO design, multi-threaded systems, and hands-on coding are essential for success in this role, based

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate and bring up Kuiper-MAC FW components/drivers in a real-time embedded environment

The Role

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
