Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. seeks an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to work on real firmware for real hardware that ships. You will be embedded with a senior firmware engineer on a sensor-rich, wireless-connected IoT device, writing production C on Zephyr RTOS and bringing up sensors.

You will have your own board and debugger, pair daily with your mentor, and by week one start shipping a feature end-to-end on live hardware.

Qualifications

• Write and debug firmware in C on Zephyr RTOS for ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
• Integrate sensors via I2C/SPI/I2S and sample pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Write and debug firmware in C on Zephyr RTOS for ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
• Integrate sensors via I2C/SPI/I2S and sample pipelines.
• Build, flash, debug boards daily with West, CMake, SWD/J-Link, serial.
• Support edge-to-cloud connectivity (Wi-Fi, MQTT/TLS, Thread, BLE).
• Assist ML datasets and deploy models on target hardware.
