Stanley Black & Decker Inc. in Towson, MD is seeking an Engineer III, Embedded Software for a hybrid role. You will design firmware for power tools, manage Li-Ion battery tech, and lead software verification efforts in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

The position requires a BSEE/BSCS/BSCE or equivalent and 3+ years of embedded software experience, with C for 8/16/32-bit MCUs and preferred ARM expertise. Travel to interface with contract manufacturers may be needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or equivalent (BSEE/BSCS/BSCE).
• 3+ years embedded software development for consumer/industrial products.
• C for 8/16/32-bit MCUs; ARM experience preferred.
• Experience with RTOS and real-time processing concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop firmware for power tools (brushless DC motors, battery management).
• Implement verification and validation through unit/integration tests.
• Translate customer requirements into software specs.
• Maintain documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
