SEAKR Engineering, Inc. in Centennial, Colorado, seeks a mid-level Embedded Software Engineer to own feature development in a fast-paced, low-level environment.

You will design and implement embedded software in C/C++, work with OS concepts, state machines, and basic networking, with onsite work and some hybrid flexibility. A Bachelor's in Engineering or CS is required, with 3–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of OS concepts (kernel vs user space, task scheduling, memory management, synchronization).
• Proficiency in Python, C and/or C++, including object-oriented principles.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, MAC addresses, packet inspection tools.

We are seeking a highly engaged mid-level Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This role offers a fast-paced environment where you will take ownership of feature development and work with minimal supervision on critical projects. We are looking for individuals with strong technical fundamentals in low-level systems programming who are eager to learn our product deeply and play a key role in system integration. This position requires working primarily onsite with some hybrid flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerized Linux user space applications.
• Exposure to Yocto or kernel driver development (not mandatory, but beneficial).
• Experience with space networking technologies and standards.

Additional Information

Compensation: Base salary range is $100,000-135,000/year, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
