Kelly is seeking a Software Engineer I – Software Engineering in Cary, NC to develop embedded software for utility vehicles. The role requires 3+ years in embedded software and a BS in engineering.

You will work with C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, and CAN/J1939 protocols within an Agile environment. The job features a first shift, a $50/hour pay rate, and opportunities to grow in a collaborative, safety-focused team with access to modern tools and test equipment.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow.
• Knowledge of embedded operating systems, drivers, CAN/J1939 network protocols, and software testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read schematics and use lab equipment; willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Performing requirements analysis, concept development, software design/architecture, and integration.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and vehicle platform testing to validate embedded software.

• Analyzing and resolving complex software issues; implementing new features and fixing defects.
• Occasionally traveling for factory visits within a 2–15 mile radius; personal vehicle required; expenses covered.
