Job summary

Micro Control Systems designs and manufactures microprocessor-based controllers for the HVAC/R industry, with an emphasis on harsh environments and a broad sensor suite. The Embedded Software Engineer will join the Engineering team to develop new products, maintain existing software, and diagnose issues as they arise.

The role involves designing, coding, testing, and integrating software across Windows and Linux platforms, collaborating with hardware and software teams, and ensuring quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in embedded software development. (Zilog, Raspberry Pi, and Microchip PIC processors)
• Familiar with git version control.
• Ability to read electronic schematics.
• Eager to take on new challenges and eliminate obstacles.
• Knowledge in cloud technologies.
• HVAC knowledge.
• Programming languages: C, Java, Visual Basic, LabVIEW, PHP, Typescript.
• Databases: SQL, MongoDB.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Design, develop, test, and implement new products and tools.
• Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a timely manner.
• Research new technologies and assist in the planning and implementation for new projects.
• Test new products to industry standards.
