Job summary

Millennium is a global investment firm seeking a hands-on engineer who blends solutions architecture and software development for Portfolio Management teams. You will translate complex requirements into scalable architectures across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, delivering production-ready Python-based solutions and reusable patterns.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software development, strong Python, cloud experience (AWS/GCP), and a customer-facing mindset.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in professional software development.
• Strong Python and OO design skills.
• Customer-facing experience with a partner-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Blend solutions architecture, software engineering, and client engagement as a hands-on engineer.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into robust architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud.
• Design, build, and deliver production-ready solutions across the full stack.
• Develop and maintain reusable libraries, patterns, and guides to accelerate onboarding.
• Own engagements from discovery to support, interfacing with business partners.
• Present architecture diagrams and demos to mixed audiences to drive decisions.
• Stay current on AI, MLOps, cloud tech, and distributed GPU training.
• Support managed products and core platforms through on-call rotation with automation.
