Job summary

The Richmond Group USA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of advanced control software for electric drives and auxiliary power systems. This role is hands-on, requiring complex controls challenges through software development.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and at least 2 years of experience with embedded C applications, MATLAB, and motor control systems. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing embedded control software for power electronics or electric drive applications.
• Strong C programming skills with experience supporting real-time embedded systems.
• Experience using MATLAB and/or Simulink for controls development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded C applications for electric drive and power electronics systems.
• Participate in design reviews and create validation plans.
• Perform testing activities and maintain technical documentation.
