Job summary

Bose Corporation is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Co-op to help develop and test software and firmware for Bose audio products, prototypes, and engineering tools. You’ll work alongside software, systems, DSP, acoustics, and hardware engineers to develop solutions for embedded audio systems, automation, testing, and development platforms.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related engineering field with strong coding skills.
• Experience with embedded software and hardware concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with version control and software testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for audio systems.
• Develop high-quality C/C++ and Python code for embedded platforms.
• Prototype and integrate software on embedded processors and hardware.
• Create automation tools for testing and performance measurement.
• Debug, validate, and benchmark software in embedded environments.
• Participate in code reviews and follow SDLC practices.
• Document software design, implementation, testing, and validation.
