Job summary

CircuitHire is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and deliver class-leading products for Space and defense applications. You will own end-to-end embedded software development, from drivers to user-space applications, across multiple layers.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ and Embedded Linux experience, with knowledge of TCP/IP/UDP networking. Space/aerospace or safety-critical domain exposure is a plus, and U.S. citizens or permanent residents are preferred for government contracts.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with Embedded Linux (user-space development).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Experience in safety-critical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end embedded software development across multiple layers from drivers to application software.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and FPGA designers to take products from customer requirements to production and integration.
• Contribute to mission-critical projects where impact on the final product is direct.
