Job summary

RFA Engineering is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop software controlling heavy equipment and off-highway vehicles. You will work on C/C++ applications, perform model-based design, and participate in bench and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

The role is onsite with a focus on integration within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, offering opportunities for growth and direct hire opportunities with customers.

Qualifications

• BS in Software, Computer, Electrical, or other relevant Engineering degree.
• Experience with C or C++ development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Feature by feature embedded software development for machine/vehicle control.
• Integrate software in a multi-developer environment.
• Functional and integration testing prior to hand-off.
• Develop and execute unit/integration/regression tests.
• Create software design documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success.
• Support root cause investigations related to software performance.
