Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering, electrical or technical engineering discipline.
• Novice understanding of the product development process.
• Novice understanding to apply project management principles, methodologies, and documentation.
• Novice understanding of FMEA processes.
• Novice in use of Integrated Development Environments and code repositories.
• Competent in use of common embedded programming languages.
• Novice understanding of schematics.
• Competent understanding of communication protocols.
• Novice in conducting research using corporate resources.
• Competent at efficient use of time to effectively plan and execute multiple duties.
• Competent to utilize basic inspection equipment in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret internal and external customer requirements to meet outputs.
• Conduct technical product evaluations to identify potential failure modes.
• Communicate technical knowledge and direction to customers.
• Develop software code for embedded processors and support applications.
• Read, interpret, troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and configure product communication protocols.
• Record daily activities and input data in corporate systems.
• Perform guided research and summarize data results.
• Complete tasks using predefined departmental processes.
• Provide hands-on technical support for customers.
• Collaborate on a team to complete assigned tasks.
