Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in the United States seeks a Software Engineer to join the Precision Mining group within the Robotics division. You will design, develop, integrate and test software features for embedded electronic controls used in hyperspectral mining applications.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and experience with ROS1/ROS2. Visa sponsorship is available; relocation support may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required; Will accept master's degree with 1-2 years of industry experience.
• Strong coding in C/C++, Python and ROS1/ROS2 required; OpenCV/ML experience preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position is for a Software Engineer to support the Precision Mining group within the Robotics division. The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate and test software features on embedded electronic controls for use in Precision Mining application with hyperspectral analysis.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 2-4 years
• Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required; Will accept master's degree with 1-2 years of industry experience.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong coding in C, C++, Python
• Proficiency with ROS1 or ROS2
• Proficiency with OpenCV/ML Learning Development
