Job summary

GeoLogics in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement embedded software for real-time systems. The team will analyze algorithm descriptions from systems engineering and adapt the existing codebase to improve software architecture, primarily using C++ with some Ada legacy.

Experience with RTI DDS, Linux/Rocky targets, and Windows hosts is a plus. Secret Clearance is required for this W2 hourly contract-to-hire role in the Grand Prairie area.

Qualifications

We have an exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX to design, develop, and implement embedded software. Team members will analyze algorithm descriptions provided by systems engineering and the existing software code base to determine the best architectural changes to the software.

Software is written in C++; however, some algorithms are still written Ada, hence knowledge of C++ is required while knowledge of Ada would be beneficial. Experience with RTI DDS is a plus, as is developing for a Linux/Rocky target from both Linux/Rocky and Windows hosts.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Requires a bachelor's degree with 4+ yrs of experience or a master's degree with 2+ years of experience
