Job summary

Job description

MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR RQMT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as an Embedded Software Engineer.

• Highly skilled in object-oriented design and C++ embedded software development.
• Familiarity with Ethernet communications.

Skills Preferred

• Experience working with RTOS and/or bare-metal real-time application development.
• Working Cybersecurity domain knowledge, specifically of Risk Management Framework and the requirements and process to obtain/maintain Authority to Operate (ATO). Ideally, the candidate would possess a cybersecurity certification.
• Weapon system and/or combat vehicle subject matter expertise.
• Current Secret Clearance

Experience Required

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in real-time embedded software development and/or software testing; can be 2 years with a master’s degree
• Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and Software Life Cycle Management

Education Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
