Capital Factory in Houston seeks an experienced FPGA/DSP engineer to implement and test embedded DSP algorithms for a 5G massive MIMO wireless stack. You will develop core HDL IP blocks and integrate them with hardware and software components.

Required: degree in electrical or computer engineering, wireless systems experience, OFDMA and digital beamforming knowledge, PHY/MAC expertise, and hands-on work with GNURadio, WARP, Verilog/VHDL, MATLAB, Python, Linux.

Formación

• Degree in electrical or computer engineering (Ph.D./Master’s/Bachelor’s).
• Industry experience with wireless systems.
• Working knowledge of OFDMA and digital beamforming.
• Intimate knowledge of wireless PHY and MAC layers.
• Experience designing wireless tests and experiments involving software-defined radios (e.g. GNURadio, WARP).
• LTE (4G, 5G) protocol knowledge.
• Proficiency in Verilog/VHDL, embedded C/C++, MATLAB, Python; Linux.
• Ability to troubleshoot Linux-based embedded systems.

We are looking for an experienced developer with an intimate understanding of FPGA programming and DSP architectures for wireless communications to implement and test embedded DSP algorithms for a 5G massive MIMO wireless communications network stack. You will be responsible for implementing core HDL IP blocks within our system and integrating them with hardware and software components.

• Degree in electrical or computer engineering (Ph.D./Master’s/Bachelor’s)
• Industry experience with wireless systems
• Working knowledge of radio physics and algorithms related to OFDMA and digital beamforming
• Intimate knowledge of wireless communications PHY and MAC layers
• Ability to design and execute wireless tests and experiments involving software-defined radios (e.g. GNURadio, WARP)
• LTE (4G, 5G) protocol knowledge
• Verilog/VHDL, embedded C/C++, MATLAB, Xilinx Vivado, Xilinx ISE, Linux, Python, LTE (4G, 5G) protocol simulation and implementation
• Wireless beamforming and radio physics
• Ability to troubleshoot/debug Linux-based embedded systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
