Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).
• Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university.
• Programming languages C/C++/Python.
• Agile development processes.
• Hands-on work with electronic circuitry, cabling, etc.

Responsibilities

• Involved in embedded systems development: requirements, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Work on motion control and detector subsystems for molecular imaging cameras.
• Write and test embedded software in C/C++ and Python; document results.
• Collaborate with firmware and electrical engineers on development and test.
• Support system host emulator and loading software in the lab.
• Assist with defect handling board issues and administrative tasks.
