Job summary

Amazon’s EC2 Instance Networking team seeks an Embedded Software Development Engineer II (C/C++) to advance automation for VPC scale. You will help build scalable frameworks, automate fault detection, remediation strategies, and data analytics across a global fleet of hosts.

You will work with back-end services, full-stack development, and time-series data processing, influencing multiple EC2 teams and validating workloads in production and pre-production environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for complex systems.
• 1+ years as a software development engineer or related role.
• 1+ years of large-scale, multi-tier, multi-threaded, distributed software.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable frameworks and services to automate fault detection and remediation.
• Develop analytics, data warehouse capabilities and visualizations.
• Collaborate across EC2 teams to validate workloads in prod and pre-prod.
