Job summary

Quantum Signal AI invites motivated interns to join our embedded real-time software team in Saline, MI for a summer internship. You will design, develop, test, and maintain real-time applications across diverse architectures, focusing on sensor integration, microcontrollers, and in-vehicle hardware.

As an active student in computer engineering or computer science, you will collaborate with mentors and cross-disciplinary engineers.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in CS/CE or related degree with current student status.
• Interest in low-level software and embedded hardware.
• Ability to ask for help when needed.
• Experience from coursework, internships, clubs, or projects in software.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
• Experience with C/C++ and Linux environments.
• Hands-on hardware/software integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and maintain real-time applications and tooling for diverse architectures.
• Work with sensors, microcontrollers, networking, and embedded hardware.
• Collaborate with mentor and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Develop tests and execute test plans.
• Create and collaborate on supporting documentation.
