Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator to architect, implement, test, and integrate software for FPGA firmware and hardware in autonomous avionics systems. You will work with Product Owners and IPT members in a Lean/Agile environment to ensure reliable embedded software delivering mission-critical capabilities.

The role requires a STEM degree, 8+ years of experience, and an active Secret clearance.

Formación

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Embedded C++ software and Embedded RTOS (e.g., Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, Linux).
• Experience developing complex systems integrating hardware, firmware and software.
• Active and transferable final Secret U.S. government clearance is required prior to start with ability to obtain program access.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, implement, test, debug and deploy embedded real-time software for firmware and hardware.
• Collaborate within a cross-discipline IPT to refine product concepts, implementation and testability.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to design reviews and proposals.
• Support early design reviews and critical design decisions throughout development.
